MANCUSO'S COVID-19 POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

First, please remember the CDC reports that although " A small number of pets have tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19. Currently, the risk of pets spreading it to people is low.*"

• We use a new face mask and pair of gloves at each client home, putting the PPE on upon arrival and after exiting the vehicle and remove them before entry to the vehicle, taking the used PPE away with us.  If we have to remove our gloves for whatever reason we carry hand sanitizer with us at all times.
• We touch as little as possible while in client homes.  If your pet needs feeding or treats we ask you put the bags out in a safe location like the kitchen counter so we don't have to open cabinets or look for them.  If your pet needs medication in pill form, please put the appropriate dose in a cup at the back of the kitchen counter or other location pre-arranged with Mancuso's.
• If you are home, we will maintain a distance of at least six feet during our interactions.  We also ask you bring your pet to the door so that we may avoid entry to your home.
• For all consultations we will also maintain a distance of six feet from all household members.
• We bring our own leashes, so we can avoid handling your leashes; we sanitize our leashes daily.
• We maintain a distance of at least six feet from others when walking your dog.

Please let us know via phone call or text (203) 219-2359 or email MDWPS@gmail.com at least 24 hours before our scheduled visit (if possible) if you or anyone in your household:

• Develops respiratory signs or fever
• Has been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19
• Has possible occupational exposure to COVID-19 (for example, an emergency room physician)
• Have a history of international travel (including to the US or Canada)

We will work with you and your family to identify a plan best for your pets' care if any of these circumstances arise.

Finally, if you have a service scheduled and Vicki, the owner and head pet care specialist, develops any signs of COVID-19, we will notify you immediately via text, call and email.  Vicki has arranged for a backup to be available and will arrange a call or meeting to transition your scheduled care to her or, work with you on other alternate plans.
